The Latest Additions to The Amazon Alexa Ecosystem!

It’s no secret that when November hits, the major tech companies start rolling out their latest products. This is a pattern we’ve come to expect, and it makes sense. The tech giants want to drum up excitement before Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and of course, Christmas.

Amazon is no exception here. Amazon held a Fall hardware event at its Seattle headquarters on 25 September and unveiled the latest products in the Amazon Alexa ecosystem. Earlier this year Amazon revealed that 100 million Alexa devices have been sold, so it’s no surprise that Amazon is looking to expand the products in this range – They’re clearly popular with consumers.

We’ve got a whopping nine new Amazon Alexa products to share with you, so let’s take a look.

Echo Frames

Want to wear Alexa on your face? Well, now you can. The Echo frames have a stylish and subtle look, essentially looking like normal glasses to unsuspecting onlookers. These frames have speakers, a microphone, a button to activate Alexa, and swipe controls for navigation.

Smart glasses have been on the market for some time now, but they’ve struggled to get widespread adoption due to how clunky they are in practice. It looks like Amazon has addressed many of these concerns. For example, the glasses will be able to play music to you in a way that reaches your ears clearly but doesn’t disturb those around you. The glasses are also designed to only push notifications you find important to your glasses, so you’re not being notified constantly.

Echo Dot Gets a Clock
