EA goes green with The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle expansion

EA and Maxis revealed a brand new feature overview trailer for the upcoming The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle expansion pack, coming to PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems on June 5.

In The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle, Sims can embrace a more sustainable lifestyle and make a positive impact on their community and the environment. The expansion pack introduces Evergreen Harbor, a unique new world where Sims have a direct influence on the state of the neighbourhood with every decision that they make.

Unlike The Sims 4 University, players are dumped into the not so beautiful town of Evergreen Harbor.

We can see solar panels, wind turbines, and many eco-friendly opportunities for anyone who has wanted to bring their green lifestyle into their Sims world! Yes, you’re going off the grid.. virtually! Consider it good practice for the real world.

It looks like players will be given the opportunity to transform the town of Evergreen Harbor into a blossoming beacon of sustainability by creating community events, try out new Civil Designer and Freelance Crafter career paths, inspiring the community to vote for eco-friendly initiatives such as community spaces and gardens, up-cycling materials and repurpose them for new creative goods and more.

As Sims explore all of the environmentally conscious efforts that The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle has to offer, they’ll have plenty of opportunities to learn how small changes can have a meaningful impact on the world around them.

The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle expansion pack will be coming to PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems on June the 5th. Will you jump onboard, and make a green-change?
